Subject line glitches: subjects showing up blank + issues w/special characters

    Hey all – first I’d like to acknowledge @rustaurius for helping me to best understand the ‘Custom Elements’ feature of this great plugin.

    I’m having 2 strange bugs with subject lines:

    1. When I “Email All Users”, the message shows up in their inboxes with a BLANK subject line, even though the email has a title.
    This bug doesn’t happen when I send emails one user at a time.
    Is there anything I’m missing that could be causing this?

    2. When I put an apostrophe in the subject line and I send that message to a single user, the subject line shows in an inbox with a backslash “\” placed right before the apostrophe.
    I.e. when I use the email title “Here’s your report,” the subject line shows up in user inbox as “Here\’s your report”.
    What is causing this and what can I do to fix it?

    Hi @tva36012,

    1. Does the blank subject line happen for every email being sent out, or just for one with a particular title?

    2. That looks like a character escaping issue on our end. We’re going to test and see if we can replicate the problem, and if so, we’ll let you know a timeline on us putting out an update to correct the issue.
