Submission Delivery Time

    Greetings all,

    I’m reaching out because I am having issues with a contact form submission delivery time. For some reason it’s taking a while for me to receive all the submission notification. Is there a reason why this is happening?

    I hope you are doing well today.

    1. About what delay we talk about here? Is is like 10 seconds, 5 minutes, 1 hour?
    2. Is there any filter on hosting side which check outgoing email in the first place?
    3. Please do note that in general, the Forminator plugin only initiates the action of sending the email, It is your WordPress site that will be sending the email. Having that in mind, WordPress uses the “wp_mail()” function which in most cases simply uses the standard PHP “mail()” function. However, depending on hosting settings sometimes you will need additional plugins like SMTP: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/. Please configure it and see if that will help with the delay and let us know about the results.

    Hey Kris,

    Thanks for replying. To answer your question it takes 30mins – 1hr to get the submissions emails. As far any existing filters on the hosting side go I’m not sure how I would check that. I’ll use the plugin you sent and see if that will fix the issue. I’ll update you once I test it out.
