Submission Error / Forms not displaying in DB

  • After working flawlessly for months, suddenly yesterday the Contact Form displays an error message for proper form completions. It saved the data in the Contact Form DB, but never sends the email confirmation and it shows the user that they did something wrong when in fact they did not. So our customers think they cannot contact us.

    Also, 2 of our forms are no longer displaying in the “Select a Form” dropdown.

    No updates to WP, theme, or plugin were made during this time. No settings were changed on the plugin or the forms.

    If you deactivate CFDB, do a form submission, and no longer see the error, then CFDB is probably involved. If you still see the error then it is not a CFDB issue.

    I suggest to deactivate, delete, and reinstall CFDB.

    There is also an option in CFDB Options page to set an error log file for CFDB to write out errors.
