Hey there. Love this plugin, but having some issues implementing on a client’s site (I’m a graphic designer with very little javascript experience, so bear with me if it’s an easy fix).

Here’s where we’d like to use it: https://www.eloychurchofchrist.org/prayer/

If possible, we’d like the submission form and posts on the same page (similar to this UK site), but we don’t really want the manager to pop up after every submission. The client user base isn’t very tech savvy. We’re afraid it will confuse them and lead to duplicate submissions.

Also, as you can see, having some issues getting the Submission form to integrate well with the theme (Heaven’s Corner).

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Let me clarify … you would like to allow public users the ability to post, but not then manage the posts they have submitted? Only display them in the list? Is that correct?

As for the display of the form … is it simply the select field that you are looking to change? Remove line 187 from your style.css. It seems that the other forms on the site (such as contact us) are wrapped in an unordered list with each form element as a list item … the styling is defined by that. You could try wrapping the form this way and adding class=”bar” to each form element.

Yes, we’d like to allow public users the ability to post, but we don’t feel they need to manage the posts they’ve submitted, just see them show up in the list. The congregation is fairly small and we won’t be having them create individual logins. Is that possible with this plugin?

Also curious if the Visibility and Tag selections in the form can be removed? All of our posts will be publicly visible, and we won’t be employing tags for this, so those fields aren’t necessary.

Thank you for responding so quickly, and for the suggestion on how to correct the form display. That seems to have fixed the issue.

In 3.2.2, added an option to disable public management of requests. This should meet your needs. Thanks!

Great, thank you! Is the shortcode the same? [amen type=”manage”]

Yup. Same shortcode. Just set ‘Disable Public Management’ on the options page.
