Submissions not Sending

    Since installing WP Mail SMTP lite, using Google SMTP API, we have been hearing from a lot of our users that they have submitted messages that we never recieve.

    We are also using WP Mail Logging and none of these submissions are appearing either as sent or as errors.

    I have inspected the Google API backend and no errors are being recorded there. We do not send a high volume of emails.

    We are using Constant Contacts form plugin and need to use it for specific reasons.

    This issue was not present, in the same way, before we installed WP Mail SMTP. (We had a previous issue of some email clients not recieving out emails, but with them logged properly with WP Mail Logging, prior to implementing SMTP on our site.)

    Hi @thekatbrady,

    Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry for the trouble! If your email entries are not being recorded, this indicates an issue related to your form plugin not functioning correctly. To confirm, you can check the Debug Events section under WP Mail SMTP -> Tools and see whether you have any failed events.

    If you have enabled spam protection on your form, try disabling it and testing again, or switch to a different form plugin.

    The WP Mail SMTP plugin will only function if your form is submitting correctly and there is an email sending request generated from your WordPress site.

    Hi Darshana,

    With the Debug feature turned on we are finding instances where WP Mail SMTP is not connecting to our Google SMTP server. The connection seems to be secure through our configurations and we aren’t getting a massive amount of submissions per day.
