• In early June (without any changes being made at our end), form submissions stopped tracking in our main ‘Master’ view of GA.

Interestingly enough though, they ARE still recording in our ‘Raw’ view of GA – just not in our ‘Test’ or ‘Master’ views. So, there’s a setting or filter in those views that is stopping submissions being reported as of some time between 6th-10th June. Something has happened in this window to stop submissions recording in our Test and Master views – yet we’ve not touched anything.

It seems to me like it must be a spam filer or a hostname filter (only applied to ‘Test’ and ‘Master’ views) that is causing a conflict here.

So you know why this may be and if there’s anything that can be edited in these filters to allow tracking to continue again?

    We’re using ‘Measurement Protocol’.

  • Hey Danil, this is most likely because of the hostname filter, I guess the measurement protocol hit sent to GA from the plugin doesn’t add a hostname to it, so the hostname will be (not set)

You can quickly check by adding hostname as a secondary dimension to your form event in the raw view.

If that is the case then you will have to change Measurement protocol to GA or GTM, or remove the hostname filter.

    Hope that helps,
