I have just created a site and want to include a petition. However, when viewing the site on IE, Firefox and Chrome, the submit button is just text and doesn’t work.

I have completed all of the sections, disabled and re-enabled the plugin (v1.3.9) and it’s still the same.

Anyone else have this problem? I cannot use it if no-one can submit anything.

Also, the “share with friends” section has two tiny little dots for the Facebook and Twitter links.

Using TwentySeventeen theme. It works on other themes just not this one….

OK, I’ve narrowed it down. If I have the petition showing on a page it displays correctly. If I use it in a placeholder in the theme so that it’s displayed on the home screen (when scrolling), it doesn’t work.

WHat is likely happening is that the CSS file isn’t being loaded.

My suggestion is to copy the contents of /wp-content/plugins/speakout/css/theme-basic.css into the bottom of your theme’s style.css or as custom CSS in the theme customise area.

Let me know how that goes.

    Perfect – that’s worked a treat!

    Thanks for the quick support!
