    Ok, just notice the same problem.

    Actually, in my case it does send confirmation emails, but I thought it doesn’t check if the user is already subscribed on the mailing list.

    I found out that this is exactly the way Chimpy works. An existing user will always see the “Thank you for subscribing” message

    @all : Regarding the Submit button is not working, it usually happens due to a conflict (like loading outdated or custom versions of jQuery files) with a theme/plugin used on the website. I would suggest you to deactivate all plugins and re-activating them one by one to see which plugin is causing the problem.

    @petar : Yes. If an existing user signs up again, it will show the “Thank you for signing up!” message to them while updating the user details in MailChimp.
