• I’ve been trying to override hover on the submit button but am having no luck. I have gone the external CSS route. (Thank you for providing an easy way to do that). I already had a child theme style.css in use so that was easy to grab the FS Contact styles and paste them into it. However, I am having no luck in getting hover to work or anything else for that matter with respect to the submit button re-styling. Can someone provide the steps to getting this to work? Once I get it working I think I can actually change the look and feel of the button, but so far none of my changes have any effect. Looking for a CSS solution. Thank you!!

  • Hi I had a look at your form from the URL above. What color are you trying to change the hover effect too?

Well, I can live with the yellow, but the text should be black since the white on yellow is unreadable. I still want to be able to override the button with my own styles. Having control would be great, including hover, text, background, shadow etc. From what I’ve read, I should be able to do that. Just can’t figure out the proper technique to get my styles to take precedence in the template/plug in.

Can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen?
