As a contributor-level usesr, the Submit For Review button is displayed in place of a Publish button.

The purpose is to allow Administrators to review the post before it’s published.

This worked for a while. The Admin was sent a request for approval message by email. Also, number of pending posts were listed in the Dashboard. And also, there was a way to approve or delete them.

But now the admin doesn’t receive the email requesting approval of a pending post. Also the number of pending posts are not listed on the Dashboard. And there is no way to approve or delete.

But the logged-in Contributor can see their list of pending posts.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I just didn’t get how this works.

Pending posts by Contributor-level users are listed in Edit Posts.

Logged in as Admin, you can preview each one as it would look if published, and click on the title to go to a deeper Edit Posts page, which displays the Publish button.

    Hello,

Did you ever get this to work? I just created a site which will have several editors and I need to have some way to review the changes to post and pages before they are updated.

Please let me know if you found a solution.

    Thanks
    Gene
