Hello, thx for this awesome plugin.

The plugin is working perfectly in the frontend, however, I have different post types and I want to my client have the option of the forms accessible in the admin panel / dashboard. I can add the form via shortcode but when filling it out and sending it, the post is not created. The frontend is working perfectly but the backend is not. Help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @xgera,

    This is intentional.

WPUF provides only the admin to create post forms and then users can submit data using those forms. By default, it will be unavailable for the user roles other than admin to access the post forms from their account’s backend.

An user needs to have admin role in order to make him access the backend of WPUF and accessing the post forms from backend.

Hi, thx for the quickly repply.

I see, however, I believe that I was not able to expose the problem well.

The form inst working in the backend. I created the form, tried it on the frontend, it worked perfectly and created the expected post. I took the shortcode, added it as a widget on the dashboard. The form appears correctly, I fill in the fields and click to generate the post. Page updates but the post is not created. That’s even with an administrator account.

    Hello @xgera,

Let me know what type of post you are creating, any custom post type post or default WP post type post? Also please let me know if you are unable to find the post from the account page built with the shortcode [wpuf_account].

If you are looking for custom post type post and you are unable to find it from account page, let me know – I can help you with that.

Are you unable to see the posts from WP-admin > Posts section? If yes, then please follow the step below:

Please check the plugin conflict in your site as this is one of the basic troubleshooting process. Please use a staging site for testing this.

Please temporarily deactivate all the third-party plugins and then check if the issue exists. If the issue exists, let me know the version of WPU8F that you are using. After checking, you can reactivate all the plugins.

Also if you can share a video of the issue, that would be great.

    regards,
