Submit Reviews Page Not Always Working

    I have this plugin setup for a client but quite often in the last couple of weeks, the page for submit-reviews does not show up.

    I have the submit-reviews setup as a private page, so as to cut down on spam. The client sends the link to the page (https://www.theedgeco.com/submit-review/) to their customers to review a recent project. Then I created a reviews section on the website for the general visiting public to see submitted reviews.

    But it doesn’t always work. Often, the submit-reviews page, when the link is clicked, will show a “that’s embarrassing..” error.

    Hi Iam,

    By “that’s embarrassing”, do you mean a 404, page not found, error? That’s what happened when I tried to visit the link. This doesn’t look like it has anything to do with our plugin. Our plugin has no control over whether or not a specific URL/page on your site exists or displays when someone tries to visit it. Try making your page public and published. Does it then load correctly?

    I guess that was the problem. Made it a normal published page and (so far) no issues. I suggested to the client to upgrade to your paid version to control spam. Hopefully they’ll bite. ??
