submitted form not received

  • I am creating a form for users to request a quote. basically before I create the entire form I want to test the submit process.
    here is the quote page

    I fill out the 6 required fields and submit. I receive a message that the form has been successfully submitted but I have not received it in my email. is it to go to the administrator email located in General settings > email address? If so, I tried two email addresses and neither receives the submitted form.
    this seems very basic and yet I am totally lost on finding a solution online. thank you for any help.

    Did you code the form yourself or using a plugin? If you wrote it yourself, what function are you using to send emails?

    The plugin I am using visual form builder https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/visual-form-builder/

    I did install the STMP plugin, but couldn’t get that to verify either.

    I do not know much about this plugin but there shouldn’t be a need to install a SMTP plugin. Disable the SMTP plugin. When you receive new comments, or click on “Forgot Password” in the wp-admin section, do you receive emails?

    Such plugins should be using the PHP mail function, no need to install any SMTP plugins.
