    I have an issue with 16 archive post urls marked ‘noindex’. No other ulrs, only all the archives.

    I don’t believe this is an issue with the site map. I use XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 4.1.0

    I also don’t think this is a robots text issue. Please see below:

    User-agent: *
    Allow: /wp-content/uploads/
    Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Disallow: /readme.html
    Disallow: /refer/

    Sitemap: https://auniquehomecareservices.com/sitemap.xml

    Rather, I believe that something, maybe since an update, is putting a “noindex” into the header of only the archive pages:

    <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex, follow”>
    <meta property=”og:locale” content=”en_US”>
    <meta property=”og:type” content=”website”>
    <meta property=”og:title” content=”April 2020 -“>
    <meta property=”og:url” content=”https://auniquehomecareservices.com/2020/04/”>

    I have double and triple checked all settings.

    I use Yoast SEO.

    I have looked through the theme php files and cannot find it, but I’m also not a developer.

    The theme is Twenty Fourteen.

    Thank you to all the smart people for your assistance.

    We looked at the relevant date archive page on your site and see that it is currently set to noindex from Yoast SEO settings.

    You’ll need to set Yes from the Yoast SEO → Search Appearance → Archives (tab) → Date Archives Settings → Show date archives in search results? options and that will remove the noindex from all the date archives page.

    Once you perform the above action, you’ll also need to resubmit the sitemap and request for re-validation for the relevant URLs in Google search console.

    Yes! Thank you Mazedul Islam Khan!

    For anyone else that has this issue, I had “Show author archives in search results?” set for Yes.

    But there is another Tab, “Date archives settings” that I had paid no attention to that also needs to be set for Yes.

    Thanks again, issue resolve!
