    WP-Cerber Version 4.3

When a user has a certain number of failed logins, I have it set to “Always block entire subnet Class C of intruders IP”. Where does it put this IP address’ subnet?

I cannot find that IP subnet anywhere. It’s not in the Access List “Black IP Access List”, and it’s not in the “Lockouts”. It’s almost as if it did nothing with the IP at all. It is also not in the DB table “cerber_acl”.

    Hi!

It’s easy. When the plugin blocks a particular subnet you see that subnet on Lockout tab (it displays lockouts from the cerber_acl table). You will always see the subnet instead of singular IP if you have set “Always block entire subnet Class C of intruders IP”.

That’s the thing, after it blocked the subnet, it wasn’t in the cerber_acl table at all.

I did import some IP’s originally to start from another site I use. I wonder if that has something to do with it? I also imported my settings. Both were the same version of Cerber as I made sure of that before I did.

Next step I’ll probably take is to uninstall the plugin and reinstall it.

When a lockout for a subnet occurs you should see a Subnet blocked event on the Activity tab. Do you see at least one?

Yes. That’s what confused me, it’s was on the Activity tab, but wasn’t in the DB. I’m going to just reinstall the plugin and keep an eye out for it again in the future. It could have just been a fluke.
