Subscribe form reveals my home address when a subscriber submits details!

    Hello,

    I am using the magic box plug-in with mailchimp to manage my subscriber list. However, I noticed that when a user enters their details to subscribe to my blog, they can see my actual address when they submit their details.

    I have no idea why that could be happening and it is serious! I have removed the magic box widget from the footer and side bars of my blog for the moment, but really need help sort this out.

    lol.. Magic action box has nothing to do with displaying your address.. mailchimp does.. and yes, someone has asked this before.. it has something to do with fighting spam..

    Hi Ryann,

    You are correct!
    I am not sure why mail chimp would think it’s a good idea to have people publish their personal address on the web (considering nowadays it’s not just companies but regular folks are also creating websites, with no business addresses). Anyways, ill see what workaround is available.
