Created site two years ago using Elementor on my Hostgator site. Added Jetpack and was using the Subscribe function for the blog without difficulty. Honestly do not remember how I added the Subscribe button.

Migrated website from Hostgator to Elementor Hosting (believe they use Cloudflare). Website migrated with zero problems EXCEPT that my Subscribe button I had created no longer appears on the pages.

I do see Jetpack in my WordPress bar, with site stats seemingly functioning normally since migration. I can see my subscribers migrated over (except that it says I have 85 but the list only displays a dozen). Interestingly, my ‘subscribers’ option does not appear under ‘users’ on the wordpress dashboard as I believe it did previously.

I did post a blog, and the newsletter went out to my subscribers, including those that are not among that dozen that display in my Jetpack list).

I deactivated all plugins and no change. Have Jetpack 12.4 (free version), Astra theme. ‘Activate Newsletter’ sliders are toggled on.

    1. is Jetpack Subscribe just not compatible with whatever is different in this new hosting?
    2. Is there a way to use the Block editor to recreate the Subscribe button and then add it to an Elementor designed/edited page?

Thank you for any help or insight anyone can give me.

That’s hard to say without knowing the exact type of subscribe button you added, how you added it, and what restrictions your new host may have. Currently, Jetpack is not able to connect to the site, so getting that connected is the first step.

To do that, please delete Jetpack and then reinstall it. You can follow these steps to do that:

    1. Start at PluginsInstalled Plugins.
    2. If Jetpack is currently active, click Deactivate to disable it. Then click Delete to remove it from your site:
    3. Go to Plugins  → Add New.
    4. Search for “Jetpack – WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth”.
    5. Click Install and then Activate.

When Jetpack is installed, click the green Set up Jetpack button to reconnect. This guide explains that process in more detail: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack

Once Jetpack is connected, you should be able to add a Jetpack Subscribe block instead of a button. You can find instructions for that here: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-blocks/subscription-form-block/

Let us know how that goes!
