  • Hello Will,

    Did you try to set StCR Position to “Yes”, empty cache and reload your page ?

    Could you provide the name of the Theme you use, It may help the plugin author.

    Best regards

    Many thanks for the assistance. I just tried position “Yes,” it did not work either. I loaded the site in Inconito mode, so cache shouldn’t be an issue either.

    I’m using https://www.thrivethemes.com

    Any ideas?

    Dear Will,

    I don’t know this theme, but what I’ve seen in the CSS code is that there seems to be another comment form hidden where the StCR appears. Put display visible on the .lrp.hid in your CSS code and you will see it :

    .lrp.hid {
        display: inline-block !important;
    }

    But I could know the reason why it appears here and not in the first form, and how to fix it. Maybe can you configure it in your theme option ?

    Best regards

    But I couldn’t* know the reason.. (sorry)

    Hi @ortonom, @ben69007 Thank you for you help.

    In the last update I added a change to force the position of the checkbox. So after setting you option to Yes on StCR Position it should work, otherwise your theme has something different from the standard. Is there a free version of the theme so that I can test it ?

    Hi Reedyseth,

    ThriveThemes are usually pretty good about being a good neighbor. They don’t have a free theme. But I’ll glad send you the login details to my personal website, where I have ThriveThemes install. The same issue is present on both sites.

    See: https://www.willfranco.com/my-approach-to-video/

    Let me know,
    Will

    @ortonom,

    I found the issue. Basically your theme is duplicating the comment form, It has one form for a Leave a comment and another one for leave a reply So if you click in the reply button you will see the StCR data. Right now is duplicated so please set the StCR Position to no to avoid the duplication.

    See image

    Since this is not a common behavior in a theme I cannot change the code. A tweak code is needed in your case.

    Hi

    I think I have the same problem, the subscription options have disappeared from the front end as has my ability to manage those subscriptions. After the update I checked in options and my StCR Position was not selected at all. I have since tried both yes and no and neither has fixed it.

    I am using Thesis 2.2 Classic Responsive Skin with WordPress V4.61. Site is Bobinoz.com.

    Hope you can help, if you need any further information from me please let me know.

    Many thanks, Bob

    @bobinoz,

    Thank you for you report, although the sympthom might be similar, the issue might me different.

    Can you open a ticket on the GitHub site so that I can help you? Please also include your website:

    Their dev. team responded:

    I’ve tested with performag and with that it works. The issue with Rise is that it doesn’t display the checkbox and the setting is not saved when posting a comment. The comments area implements the comment_form hook so there should not be a problem.

      Can you please tell the user to ask the plugin what other hooks or filter they need in order to make the theme compatible?

    @reedyseeth has this plugin been abandoned?
