Subscribe to new jobs

    My site uses Jetpack to allow people to subscribe to the site. They do not receive emails when I post a new job, as opposed to a post. Is there a subscription plugin you know works with this one?
    If not, may I request a ‘subscribe to new jobs’ button as a feature for later versions?

    Hi slittle2,
    Thanks for using our plugin. Jetpack only supports subscription for default posts. You can see this issue referenced here. There are many other great plugins that allow users to subscribe to custom post types. One such example is, Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin(https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/email-subscribers/). You can use that to send mails to your subscribers for each job postings. You can configure post notifications for jobs from Post Notifications page from the plugin. Click Add New Post Notification, then Select your Custom Post Type as awsm_job_openings. You can configure other settings according to your needs. That’s it!
