• It’s a good plugin, but I’m having a minor, annoying issue.

    Since a recent update, I get this message on every page in the admin area:

    Thanks for using WPtouch! If you’d like to sign up for news and updates from the team you can subscribe to our newsletter.

    I click the X to close it, but when I refresh or go to another page it comes right back. It’s just annoying.

    Sorry about the inconvenience. We just released version 4.3.13.1 which includes a fix for this. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and helping make WPtouch even better!

    I agree with the original post, AND I have updated to 4.3.13.1 AND I still get the annoying message all the time.

    After a few days of seeing and dismissing the message dozens of times, I received your answer, and then went back into my Dashboard, and no message! A mystery, but nice timing.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
