Subscribe2 4.0 fails to show subscribers

  • Hi. I’m using WP 2.3, and Subscribe2 4.0. My blog is only available to registered users. I installed Subscribe2 as per the instructions.

    When a test user (me, using a subscriber account) logs in, goes to the subscription page on his profile, he clicks the select all checkbox, and hits subscribe, and is notified that he has been successfully subscribed.

    When the admin (me, using the admin account) go to the Manage > Subscribers page, that user does not show as a subscriber. In fact, the filter dropdown has no subscribers listed.

    If I add an email address manually via that page, it does add as a subscriber. But when a user adds themselves, they do not show up on this management page as being subscribed.

    Can anyone help?

    The Filter dropdown should show you Registered users and then a list of your categories with the number of registered users subscribed to each one. There should also be a list of publich subscribers (both confirmed and unconfirmed).

    When you add an address it will be immediately confirmed, when a users self adds they’ll get an email with a link to click to complete their subscription.
