  • @dave_wordpress,

The button seems to work fine for me on my test install. Are you using any other plugins that enhance the WordPress editor?

The new version contains that message to warn users of one of the major reasons for blocked emails. It can safely be ignored, I’m improving it in the next version. Under “Send Email From:” in Subscribe2->Settings have you chosen one of the first 2 options in the drop down list?

    Active plugins:

      Comment Errors
      gtrans
      Online Backup for WordPress
      Recent Tweets Enhanced Widget 2.3
Shareaholic | email, bookmark, share buttons
      Subscribe2
      Twitter Mentions as Comments

Yes, the second one “the name of my blog”

    @dave_wordpress,

I don’t use any of those plugins at all with the exception of Subscribe2 of course. It may be a conflict, if you could try deactivating those other plugins for a moment and see if the issue persists. If not then it’s likely to be a conflict with one (or more) of them.

On the second matter, the warning message checking will be a little more subtle in the next version and won’t display of either of the first 2 options are selected, you can just ignore it for now, it will not affect functioning of the plugin.

    Hi,

Disabled all other plugins. Same. It just inserts this html <img class=”mceSubscribe2″ src=”https://www.MYDOMAIN.co.uk/blog/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/tinymce3/../include/spacer.gif” alt=”” /> which doesn’t render any useful content on the post.

As I say it worked previously, maybe recent WP update screwed it?

    @ dave_wordpress,

Ah, I have heard about this one but never managed to reproduce it. Would you mind if I took a look at your site? If so could you arrange FTP access and admin level WordPress access for me and I’ll see if I can track this down.

If you are happy to share these details let me know and I’ll tell you how to contact me (don’t post it on here for obvious reasons).
