• We have been using the Subscribe2 plugin with no problems for a decade. We now have many thousands of subscribers. We are public interest website providing financial news at no cost to readers.

In the past two weeks we have begun receiving a growing number of emails from Gmail email users stating that the email alerts from WallStreetOnParade.com (that are generated by the Subscribe2 plugin on our website) abruptly stopped after June 10 of this year.

None of our subscribers that are using email accounts with Yahoo, Protonmail, AOL, Hotmail, icloud, etc. are complainging – just Gmail email users are complaining.

Our readers have individually filed complaints with Gmail to no avail. We have also written to Google twice, also to no avail.

We know Google isn’t intentionally censoring us because we receive excellent search traffic from Google.

We would deeply appreciated with any information or insights anyone might have.

    Pam Martens

  • I have had the same problem since april, but not only gmail, many …. and I found recently that as of May, somehow, no one with an email which begins with the first half of the alphabet can subscribe…. what is going on with this plugin?

Gmail now almost requires DKIM and SPF support to get emails in an inbox and not the junk folder. You have to be on some – unnamed – whitelist to get into an inbox from WordPress without DKIM support.

I have two websites using Subscribe2, both with the same settings as far as I can tell, and I am finding that the emails go out satisfactorily to subscribers on one site when I post but not on the other.

I wonder if you have any ideas please?
