    Hi there, I’m using this plugin on a client’s website and it seems to have developed a bug where if a subscriber deselects the “Subscribe to our Newsletter” at checkout, they are unsubscribed from the newsletter despite having been subscribed and having confirmed that they wish to be so.

    This has been happening since July apparently, but has only just come to light.

    I have enabled Support so that you can investigate further.

    Hi @bazeboiee, thanks for contacting us with that question. Adding the right subscribers to your Audience is essential, and I am happy to help out.

    If the customers have opted out, verify that the customer has declined marketing – you can see this by viewing the customer on the order. If mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed is equal to 0 they opted out at checkout. You can see this in the Custom Fields (usually below the order details).

    If the customer is set to 0 as noted, do you have any other plugins that work with Mailchimp that could be impacting the subscriber status?
