Subscriber vs. Contributor home page

Hi,
Maybe a really dumb noob question…

I have just discovered that my site subscribers login and immediately see my site with the WP toolbar at the top. However, when a Contributor logs in, they see a WP dashboard with the left menu and the top toolbar. Unfortunately, that leaves many Contributors lost and wondering what to do next.

Is there a means to change logins of other roles to see the same home page as does a Subscriber?
