    Hi:

    1. I don’t get new subscribers in my mailchimp audience. I’ve tried several times but my contacts are not shown in my mailchimp audience at all, even if checkbox in checkout page is checked.

(I edit, now it seems finally one of subscribers is shown. No idea why)

    2. Besides, checkbox should be unchecked by default (I marked that in plugin settings) but it always shows checked.

(I edit, I read in other post that if I’m logged then that happens)

    3. Subscribers should be added to my mailchimp audience with a specific tag but that’s not happening: the only subscriber i could get until now, is shown without tag in my mailchim audience.

    Thanks very much

Hi @inextable, thanks for reaching out.

No two WordPress installs are the same and various factors can contribute to a sync failing. Basic troubleshooting starts with verifying the following information about the plugin and WordPress environment.

    • What are the versions of PHP and the plugin?
    • Are there a large number of plugins being used? If so, it may be necessary to increase the memory limit on the hosting server (1GB for example) to accommodate the initial sync.
    • You may need to activate WP CRON or consider using the CLI option.
    • The server is using a cache such as Redis, Memcached, etc. You may need to exclude a route path for the plugin.
    • If you are using a shared hosting environment, consider switching over to a server stack with a dedicated IP address.
    • Your server may be getting?blocked by Akamai, Mailchimp’s API service.

Please let us know if the problem still persists after going through those details and we’ll be glad to investigate further.

    Hi!

Thanks very much for your answer.

About point 2: I’ve checked again and checkbox is checked by default in Firefox but It works ok in Chrome (it’s unchecked by default). Any idea why?

    About point 3:

    Php version: 8.1

    Plugin version: 2.8.3

I’ve increased memory limit to 1Gb

I don’t have any idea what wp cron or cli option is. Is there any easy option to apply them if I’m not a developer/programmer?

I don’t have any cache plugins.

I dont’ think Akamai is blocking anything, new subscribers are listed in Mailchimp. It’s the tag what it’s not being added.

I’ve checked after these changes and my new contact is added to audience but still without tag.

    Thanks again.

Hi @inextable, thanks for your patience. Since the tags aren’t being added, can you confirm that the tags are being mapped in the setup of the plugin? Configuration for tagging is done in the Audience tab in the plugin’s settings.

Let us know if you still need assistance and we’ll be glad to research further.

Yes, tag is properly inserted in plugin settings. But is not being registered in Mailchimp.

Hi @inextable in that case, let’s try to test in a staging environment and test for any conflicts by by following this guide, WooCommerce: Fixing Theme and Plugin Conflicts:?https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/. It sounds like something is blocking those tags from coming over and this may should be the best way to find the issue.
