• Hi,

I received today an email from WordPress saying I should update to the latest version of the plugin because of an identified security issue. When I did so, I noticed that all my subscribers were missing, so it seems the subscriber list that I have was not automatically imported into the latest update–it was like I had installed the plug-in for the first time.

Any suggestions for how to overcome this problem?

    Thank you,

    Neil

    Hi Neil,

Please go to Email Subscribers > Help & Info and click on “Run the updater” to fix the migration issue and check once again.

    It should fix this issue.

Please check and let us know how it goes.

If it doesn’t solve your issue, please contact us. We will take a look into your issue.

    Hi Malay,

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I’m not sure what you mean: should I update the plug-in, and then go to Help & Info within the updated app, and then click “Run the updater? Or is this not the procedure? I’d appreciate if you could please confirm. Thanks. Also, where do I find “Run the updater”–is this within the plug-in?

    Thanks,

    Neil

    Hi Neil,

    Please upgrade the plugin first.

If you don’t find your subscribers then only do “Run the updater”

    Hope that helps.

    Hello again,

Sorry to keep bugging you, but I’m having another problem. When I tried to update the plug in, at first I got a message from WordPress saying the plug-in was updated successfully. But then when I tried to go to Help and Info and Run the Updater, I kept getting messages saying I wasn’t authorized to have access, and then eventually WordPress said that the update of the plug-in failed.

Any suggestions on what’s going on here? I appreciate all of your help, and again, sorry to keep bugging you : )

I have the same issue. All Subscribers, Forms, Settings, etc are gone.
WordPress 4.7.3 also upgrading to 5.2.2, no change
Email Subscriber 3.2.9, updating to 4.1.6
Uve used the “Run Updater” with no change
