• Hello,
I am creating a blog that will display images and text by professional photographers. I want to show the images with a watermark. However, if you are subscriber, you will not see the watermarks if you are logged in.
    Is this possible in WordPress?

I would really appreciate tips or advice on this.
    Thank you,
    AndyW

  • Well… anything’s possible I suppose.

You can search forums to find ways to test if a user is logged in or not. Based on that, perhaps you can then determine what image to show or, if the watermarks are javascript based, toggle the js on or off?

    Hi Handysolo,
Thanks for the very quick response. It would be really great if a plugin already exists to do this, but I suppose the need is somewhat specialized.
I was hoping that when a subscriber logs in, the software automatically shows the non-watermarked image. If there is a way to toggle a javascript based watermark on and off, probably even better as it would save space and a lot of duplication.
However, I know nothing about coding or java or programming. I am pleased that I have managed to get a test version of the blog running!
Do you know which forums I could try searching?
If anyone else has any ideas I would love to hear them.
    Thanks again,
    AndyW
