    Hi Team,

    Mailpoet is sending a series of stepmails (i.e. newsletter) to my subscribers just fine. But they are receiving 3-6 copies of the same mail almost in the same minute.

    How can I send just one stepmail at one time?

  • Re,

    Could you please describe exactly what you’re trying to achieve? Please note that we are not in a position to provide custom integration support (your previous questions were about WooCommerce, which we do not support) or anything that goes beyond stock functionality. If you have a post notification configured and upon publishing a post there are multiple copies of the same email sent to all subscribers on the associated list, then we’ll investigate.

    Regards,
    MailPoet Team.

    This query is unrelated to the previous questions. This incidence of sending multiple copies of the same email has been happening for a while, so my clients say.

    I send newsletter through my activated web host (frequency set to 25 emails per 5 minutes). When I test the sending method, there is only one email arriving in my email account, but the newsletter, for some unknown reasons, arrive in multitude.

    @itelltao,

    Could you please contact us via the beacon from your MailPoet installation (by clicking the blue bubble in bottom-right corner of your screen)?
    That will help us investigate your issue in more detail.

    Regards,
    MailPoet Team.

    Update: this is not a bug but intended behavior. When a WordPress user is added with role A, all welcome emails intended for that role are scheduled and sent. When that user’s role is changed to role B and then back to role A, the same welcome emails are scheduled and sent again.
