  • My guess is that this is a temporary issue that should be resolved shortly.

I am also have trouble on my e-mail subscriptions! A couple of days ago, Jetpack completely vanished from my site, and I had to reinstall. Jetpack remembered my subscribers, though, and everything was fine. This morning, I had about 230 subscribers, and this evening I have 201. I don’t understand what is happening, or what I can do to facilitate an improvement. I am considering switching to a mail service like Mailchimp. Does anyone have suggestions? Does anyone know what is going on with Jetpack? Thank you!

I and my girlfriend have had the same problem, so far my subscribers have not come back. This is a huge issue if wordpress lose peoples subscribers. I really didn’t want to but it looks like mailchimp might have to take over.

Yes, I keep checking, but mine still isn’t back to normal! I will check again in the morning.

I appear to have lost subscribers too. Is there any explanation for what is happening?

I did have 293 and now you have repopulated 262 thanks for the most of them but I really need the rest…

    Please try to be patient.

I really appreciate your attention to this, and honestly my wife is the one freaking out she just saw that some people were listing this as resolved and she is really upset. Now that I know that people are still monitoring the older post I will be able to assure her that people are not ignoring her. Thanks!

This issue has yet to be resolved for my blog. I am hoping it will be fixed soon!

    Hi,

The subscribers weren’t actually missing, we experienced an issue yesterday where the counts weren’t being displayed, but the actual subscribers were safely stored in our database on WordPress.com. This issue has now been fixed. If you experience this issue again, please start a new thread and let me know, and make sure to include your site’s URL.

Nope, still not showing the previous count on my blog. I should have around 240. Showing 204.

Hi momsgotmail, I see 206 subscribers for your site. Why do you say you should have around 240? Do you have a screenshot or anything to show me? As I said, the issue was purely a display issue, and the subscribers we list for you are now the same as what we have in our database.

I have the same issue, I had 52 subscribers and now it is only showing 46. Nothing has been fixed for me

booth: some of the subscriber counts are still not updated. The correct number of subscribers is what you see in the downloaded CSV file. If the count is still not accurate by Monday, let me know.

I say I should have around 240, because that is roughly what I had a few days ago, then, in a matter of hours, the next time I logged in, it went from 230 something to 201. I have gained 5 followers since the unfortunate incident, whatever has caused it.

Does the csv file include wordpress followers? Is it possible that the subscriber count shown used to include both e-mail and wordpress followers, but that now the count shown is only showing [an incorrect] number of of e-mail subscribers? Because, if I ad 206 email subscribers + my 37 wordpress followers, I get 243 followers total, which is what used to be displayed.

Thank you for your work on this. I downloaded my file.
