Yes, the total Followers count includes WordPress.com followers ane email subscribers. it is also worth noting that the number isn’t immediately updated when a subscriber is added or removed; the number is cached for a certain length of time (I can’t tell you how much time, as that is something that is currently being worked on and can change).

    Hi Richard,

The problem is still there as my subscribers have not come back. The CSV also says 46. 46 is now what the total is in wordpress including wordpress subscribers so about 10 subscribers seem to have gone missing. Any news on this?

    Thanks

booth: I can assure you that no subscribers were lost. Can I have your site’s URL? I can look into it for you. Meanwhile, do you have a screenshot or something that I can see that shows what the number of subscribers was previously?

    Yep, it is at https://www.tellthemisaidsomething.com

I don’t have a screenshot of previous subscribers. But where before it said about 54, it now says 46. And if you follow that through by clicking on “followers” “blog” it then says wordpress.com followers 8, and email followers 38. Where before email followers said something like 46.

So it would appear I lost about 10 followers from email followers. Whether they are gone or just not counted in jetpack for some reason I don’t know. The CSV says 46 but I don’t know if the CSV counts wordpress.com followers or not.

    Thanks for your help mate

    Hi Booth,

The CSV now says 47 subscribers, fyi, and these are only email subscribers. It does not include WordPress.com Followers.

Also, I noticed that you are running an earlier version of Jetpack; you might want to update as thaere have been bug fixes and new features since version 2.2.2. Have a look at our changelog here:

Hey Richard, so did it used to include wordpress.com followers and now it doesn’t? Is that why the difference? Or am I still missing subscribers?

I updated and no joy there unfortunately
