Subscribers receive funky Amazon links

Hi Vicki,

When I go to https://vweisfeld.com/?p=5452, using Mac Chrome, and right click on the leftmost Amazon element, the one that says, “The Dinner: A Novel”, and click Inspect, I see the following code:

Thus, it looks to me like whatever you’re using to send your posts via email isn’t filtering all that stuff out.

Moreover, if I simply right click on the same image and click Copy link Address, I get a very messy URL as well:

P.S., I Googled around a bit and found this WordPress plugin which might help remove the unwanted stuff in your emails:

I say might above because a) I have never used the plugin and b) it’s title is “Remove Amazon Links from RSS Feed” but it mentions “… you may not use their affiliate links in any email, rss feed, etc.”

The bummer is that it only claims to be compatible up to WordPress 4.1.10 and the author hasn’t updated it for 11 months. But, LOL, it does have five out of five stars from ONE person!!!
