    Hello, I red here:

    Subscribers-only mode#Subscribers-only mode

    subscribers_only: true

You may want to ensure that only logged-in users can submit your contact form. In such cases, use the subscribers-only mode. In this mode, non-logged-in users can’t submit the contact form and will see a message informing them that login is required, while logged-in users can use it as usual.

No anti-spam verification will be provided for contact forms in the subscribers-only mode since only welcome people are supposed to be able to use them. If this assumption is not applicable to your site, subscribers-only mode probably isn’t a good option for you.

I logged in and then I artificially disconnected myself by altering the wp-config AUTH_KEY, LOGGEDIN_SALT, etc. Finally, I tried to send the form and I don’t see any message informing me that login is required. I only see a little circle and I can’t send any form.

Why should I want to do the following? Many mobile users send a form and then they remain on that page and the phone stores the page with the form, even when the user is not logged in anymore. So, my idea was to have the subscribers_only set to true to inform the user, but I see no message.

Where can we see the website in question?

Hello, you asked me the same in another thread.

Anyway, I understood (maybe!) the behaviour of your plugin and maybe it isn’t supposed to do what I was looking for.

As far as I understand, in a completely PUBLIC form, when you set subscribers_only: true, if you are NOT logged in, the form is replaced by the message you talk about in the guide.

BUT, if the form is NOT public, you logged in, then you submit a form, then you come 10 days later and with your phone you open again a cached, old webpage containing the cached form, when you try to send the form, you see a simple “circle” near the button.

It would be very useful for me if, on button press, the user could see a message like “you’re not logged in, please log in to send the message” or something similar. The circle isn’t very informative and people start sending email telling the form doesn’t work ??

I want to share the details of the website but not publicly.
