Subscription check box

Hello. If you click on the box for “Notify me via e-mail if anyone answers my comment” it does not show a check. The outline of the box only slightly gets darker. This is hard to notice and give the impression the box does not work. In addition, if I choose the option to “Check the subscription check box by default” in settings, the check box does not go away in the comment sections or show a check mark. This leads one to believe that they need to check the box. However, if you click on the box it actually unchecks it and disables being notified. You are not aware of that though because the only change is the outline of the check box gets slightly more faint.

Can this be fixed?
