    Hi,

    We have hosted our site into godaddy server. Subscription confirmation email not received to users.

    As per system status showing we have configured with SMTP relay server also. But still it’s not working.

    Could you help us solve this issue.

    Hello,

    if I understood this well, you’re using an external Smtp server. If so, please check the logs and see if mails are dropped. Did you perform a test send from our troubleshoot panel?

    Thanks,

    Michael

    Hi,

    Issue was resolved by updating the subject of subscription confirmation email from default subject to custom subject text.

    Hello

    I have kind of same problem, but the fix of @maniegrove does’nt help.

    Newsletters are correctly sent, simple validation confirmation too if this option is selected, the unsuscribed mail also… Only the second validation mail isn’t sent.

    Hello @baskerville21, could you please take a look at the logs and see if you can gather some more informations?

    Thanks,
    Michael

    There are a few lines with same error like this in the log file

    15-07-2024 16:01:07 – ERROR – 8.4.5 – 24,6 Mo/512 Mo – jc > Array
    (
    [0] => 600
    [1] => 0
    )

    But surprisingly, it works perfectly this morning…

    Thank you for your care.

    Ho, Godaddy is totally unreliable when sites send emails, you can ask them for their internal SMTP service and install an SMTP plugin to connect your site to that service (but I see recently they do not suggest it anymore, thatn for the managed WP).

    If you want use an external SMTP, be warnined Godaddy probably block that connections, so you shold chose a service and an integration plugin which uses API (wp mail smtp for sure has some services interfaced via API).

    I know, it’s complicated and confusing, but that is how it works on Godaddy as far as I know.
