Subscription Emails language

    Hi,

    we have the problem that the emails that are sent via subscription (Jetpack feature) are in German – at least the first E-Mail that is sent. The WordPress settings are set to english, but was german in the beginning. How can I now change the language for those subscription emails? Btw the wp-config.php is also set to en_US.

    These subscription emails will match your site’s language by default, but if you subscribe using an email address linked to a WordPress.com account, we’ll use the language you set for that WordPress.com account.

    Could you check the language currently set for your account here?

    My emailadress is linked to a wordpress account that is in english. So that can’t be the problem.
    I still believe it has something to do with wordpress being installed in german first – and then switched to english. We will get the update to 4.1.1 and a theme update also, maybe that will do the trick. Or do you have another idea?

    Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look at your Jetpack settings and see if your language settings are correct there?

    The url is faciomusic.com/faciowp2015/ but it is password-protected. I sent you the login dates yesterday, you can use them also for the wp-login.

    It seems that your Jetpack settings were set to German on our end. I’ve updated them to match your site settings, and things should work now!
