Subscription fee

  • Hi guys,

    I’m quite new to WordPress and therefore to woocommerce.

    I’d like to create an e-commerce for my NPO, whose core activity is books selling (without delivery -take away only.). I need to add a sort of yearly subscription fee that one has to pay once a year to use our store.

    I thought of a sort of database, filled with every buyer’s info, in which the store would check if the buyer already bought from us in the current year. If the buyer is new, the system would add 5€ to the bill, else not… Is there any add-on, or , even better, is it already included in woocommerce vanilla and i’m too dumb to find it?

    I’d prefer not force the buyers to create an account, as it is of no use for us afterwards.

    This would need to be built custom, but there is a Fees API to add the fee itself, and the plugin you have built can check the ‘billing_email’ for past orders, or your custom DB, to see if they exist already. Possible, yes. Out of the box, no.
