Subscription Form Not Displaying Correclty

  • My subscription form is displaying two boxes that can be typed in but they are not properly labeled. Above one of them is says: Email Address, and the second box is directly below that one and there is no label on it as to what it is for. I would like to ask for their name and email address. I am using Modal Dialog in conjunction with Tribulent’s Newsletter plugin.

    How do I label the boxes?

    There is likely something in your site theme that is preventing these boxes from displaying. I will need to have a look at the site to debug. You can configure Modal Dialog only to display on a single page, which would let me see it without all of your visitors seeing it.

    Another thing to validate is that the form shows up properly on a regular page.

    Looking at the HTML code for your site, I don’t see any label for the second box in the HTML.

    If you put the same shortcode on a plain page, do you see both labels?

    Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Yannick.

    There isn’t a place to put the label. I have a shortcode generated by my newsletter plugin (from Tribulent) that I place in the dialog box which doesn’t display the boxes, so I wouldn’t know where to put the text. I hope that makes sense.

    This will need to be figured out with the newsletter plugin author. I have no control over what the other plugin outputs.
