subscription instead a purshase

which plugin do you use for subscription?

Currently how system is working, its saving referral ID in order meta. Then when order is changing status to completed, its checking if it has that meta, if it has, then create coupon. Maybe plugin you are using is also adding subscription as an order, then you would just hook to some of its action.

If i got you right, you are looking for a way to give coupon to user1 when he refers you a person and when that person registers on your site instead of purchasing a product?

With some changes in a code, that could be possible. However, there is no out of the box solution. I could guide you on code changes tomorrow, if you have experience with PHP.
