  • @asif,

    Install a WordPress mail logging plugin like one of these two:

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-mail-log/

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/email-log/

    And see if the emails are generated.

    It may be that nobody has subscribed or unsubscribed yet or maybe you are not checking the email account of an administrator level user, only such users get email notifications for new and leaving subscribers.

    Hello,

    Some time it works and some time not. When I select only Subscribers Alerts it usually gives. But when i Select for both it do not sent me alert mail.

    Un-subscription is not yet done as I have not given unsub method at interface. is it available?

    Please help.

    Thanks,

    Asif

    @asif,

    Have you installed the logging plugins? If it works sometimes than it’s unlikely to be an issue in the plugin code.

    I don’t know what you mean asking “is it available?”, you just need to put an Unsubscribe page on your site from what you wrote before this question.

    Hello,

    I have installed it now and will check the logs. Further it happened after when some update the plugin. Before some days there was also some issues in updates. So may be due to this an email alert is not received.

    The unsubscription button or option is available in this plugin for users to unsub from digest?

    It should be on every digest that is send on a specified time. SO please tell.

    Thanks,

    Asif

    Hello,

    I have just subscribed a user for digest. Lg Plugin record this activity but Subscribe2 did not send me the alert mail that this user has subscribed for the digest. So where is the issue.

    Alerts on Email ID are enabled from settings.

    Thanks,

    Asif

    @asif,

    For people to unsubscribe you need to put the form on your site with the Unsubscribe button. It may already be on your site unless you have specifically put the form on there and hidden the Unsubscribe button.

    also, if you got a new user and an email showed in the log then the plugin generated an email. The reason it wasn’t sent is down to something on your WordPress site or your sever, not the plugin. The plugin is generating the email as it shows in your log. Please take this up with your hosting provider.
