    Hi there!

We are currently trying to balance different ways for users to use our courses. Your option for paying per course are great (although we’d love to see some payment methodes added besides Paypal!)

Secondly we’d love to offer users a subscription were they could pay a monthly fee to use the full breadth of our academy. We can set up the subscription payment off site, but I’d love to know if there’s a way were we could basically give those associated e-mailaddresses free access to the courses that would otherwise require payment. Is there a flip we can switch in the backend? Or perhaps a coupon code we could offer these people?

I’ve tried to set something up with the Offline Payment methode but I can’t seem to get it to work. Could you please give some more information on the options available to us?

    Hi,

Supporting more payment methods/gateways,supporting subscription, supporting membership are all in our roadmap. It for the most part will be features/addons of our premium version when we release it. This support forum is only for free version discussion as per guidelines, so if you have any query regarding premium version you can do so by contacting via chat system of our official site.

About the offline payment method that you mentioned, are you saying that offline payment method is not working at all or something else?

Now to fulfill your requirement, we are thinking of something that would allow site owners to add some students to course of choice manually by creating order manually in the backend. We still need to plan this so it can take sometime. Would this be something that would work for you?

    Thanks.

Do you already have a premium version? I can’t seem to find anything on your website but I’d love to know more. Any idea on when these membership options might be added?

As for the offline payment remark: I’m not sure what it’s supposed to be doing so I can’t comment on if its working correctly. I couldn’t find a lot of information in the documentation either, so could you eleborate on what the option is there for and when you would expect someone to use it?

No, we don’t have premium version currently.

Okay, here’s how the offline payment works.

Firstly, to make it work, you need to enable this payment mode.
To do that, in the dashboard please go to Masteriyo -> Settings -> Payments -> Offline Payment, enable it from there and save chagnes.
After that, any student/user now can purchase any paid course using this offline payment method. When the user makes the purchase, it creates an order with On-Hold status in the backend which you can check on Masteriyo -> Orders.
As a site admin, you can click on that particular order and change it to Completed status. Once it is complete, the student/user can now access the paid course.

Use case scenario: You can take payment from users via currently not support payment methods, wire transfer or directly take cash/cheque in hand and ask the users to make the order for particular paid course and complete it from the backend as site admin.

Hope this information helps on understanding on how this offline payment works.

Note: We are also working in ‘Add Order’ feature in Masteriyo -> Orders where you will be be able to create orders directly meaning provide particular paid course to particular registered student of your choice.

    Thanks.

Update: In the version 1.3.1 we have added the Create New Order feature. To use it, please go to Masteriyo -> 0rders -> Create New Order.
There, please type the username or email of any student in user field.
In the course field, add the course you want the user(student) to access to.
Change the order status to Completed.
    And save the changes.

That’s it. This way you can give any student access to any course free or paid. Please check if this feature would be useful to you.

    Thanks.
