Subscription Nag Inconsistent

  • Hi!

    The subscription nag seems to be inconsistent. When I first install Leaky Paywall two days ago, it works perfectly fine.

    Now, it only shows whenever it wants to show on totally random articles for logged out users and logged-in non-subscribers.

    I searched for every potential solution on this support forum to no avail.

    How can I have this fixed?

    That sounds like a caching issue. Please follow this help doc to get the paywall to work correctly with a cached site:

    Thanks for sharing the link.

    I did every step, including step #5, but my site isn’t hosted via WP Engine according to the WordPress support. Instead, my site is hosted via WordPress.com.

    I also don’t have any plug-ins using cache that could cause any issues that I am aware of.

    I’m out of steps to follow to fix this issue. Can you provide further help? Thanks! ??

    I’m having the same issue as well. I had downloaded and set up the plug in last night…. Though the Restriction instructions weren’t as clear as I’d like, I followed through and the paywall worked. Today, I check the site and the paywall is non existent. I’m going to dig in a little further to see what’s going on. I’ve been reading about Leaky Paywall, Watching videos and thought, “this is it”.
    I’ve tried checking off the caching option just in case it could be that but, the paywall literally does what it wants.
    I hope your issue was resolved. I’m going to look into this a lil further then reach out again.
