subscription nag not showing

hi, I have installed leaky paywall and several add-ons, and at first load I was able to see the nag on logged out browsers. now though, it never pops up although I have the limit set to one post.

I am hosted by Showit for WordPress & they are partnered with WPEngine, so I am hoping the issue is with the caching. I have requested that they contacted WPEngine to whitelist the cookie as recommended for Leaky Paywall, but…. in case that isn’t the fix, is there any other reason the paywall nag just would NOT be showing at all on any posts? I have tried clearing all my caches from multiple devices/browswers/IP addresses…still not showing.

I really hope this works and my money isn’t wasted. Unfortunately, switching hosts is not an option for me so I really hope there is a work around for the heavy caching if thats what it is. Thanks in advance!
