Subscription renewal created new License Keys each month

    Hi,

    Love your plugin in works fantastic. Two thumbs up!

    One caveat though, we use monthly subscriptions and I noticed that on each renewal, a new license key is issued as well, which means the buyer gets a free new key each month. On a renewal, there should not be a new key obviously.

    Technically it is not an error, since a key is issued on an order complete status, which a renewal technically is. It is however not supposed to be that way.

    Any ideas how to tackle this? I know you haven’t “integrated” it with Woocommerce subscriptions (yet), but maybe you have a hint on where to look for a fix.

    no problem man, you did actually do a lot. This has been a feature that I’ve been putting off FOREVER, and now it’s being actively worked on!

    firstly, it’s amazing you’re working on this feature thank you very much for that. I have a similar situation to botprophet except that we treat the subscriptions sort of like a payment plan where even after the final payment, the license needs to remain active because in our case it means they have “paid off” the product.

    I understand that this update you are working on will fix the issue where a key is generated every payment, is there/can there also be an option to keep the license active even after final payment.

    Hmm, maybe we could do something like an option to remove the “Expires At” field completely after the final payment has been made. Does that make sense to you?

    Hi, thanks for great plugin. It is no-nonsence, it does the job.
    I am considering it for my project, but I am missing a license renewal functionality.
    I do not care about WC Subscription. I would rather like to have a license renewal option, which would work mostly like normal license purchase, only that it would have a discount price and would extend expiration of license. And would be offered only to holder of valid existing license. Not quite like subscription, hopefully simpler, no dealing with reocurring payments.

    I have tried to test feature/wc-subscriptions-integration branch from Github, but fails to activate on my site. Perhaps it is still work in progress.

    @drazenbebic Will this be uploaded to the WP repos for auto-update? Otherwise we’ll have to manually update this week as new renewals are coming up shortly ??
