Subscription widget not subscribing

    I am testing Jetpack on a test site prior to moving to a production site. I have the Jetpack Newsletter subscription widget installed, but when I enter a name and email account, it just sends an email to the person with the content from the subscription form (name and email id). The email id is not subscribed. Please advise on what steps I am missing. Thank you

    UPDATE: I was using the wrong widget. My error.

    No worries. Thank you for the sharing that update.

    There are quite a good number of Jetpack widgets and blocks. It can sometimes get confusing to know which is which and if what you’ve chosen does what you expect.

    We’re working on cleaning and simplifying things more, and we expect to have some welcome changes in future updates.
