    Hi, when I use WC subscriptions plugin with the custom order numbers plugin, the recurring orders get the same order number and we get error from Paypal:

    PayPal API error: (10412) Error: Duplicate invoice – Payment has already been made for this InvoiceID. Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    How can I set that the order number will change?

    Thank you for explaining about the issue which you are facing on your site.

    Yes, I have replicated the mentioned issue on our staging site where the custom order number is not updated accordingly for the Subscription order and for the next renewal order. The order number is the same as the parent order’s number.

    We have worked on the issue on our staging site and fixed it. We are going to release an update of our plugins probably by tomorrow which will include the mentioned fix.

    Hi @zorem,

    We have released an update to the LITE version of the plugin which includes a fix to the issue where the order numbers will be updated fine for the subscription order and of the renewal orders.

    Request you to kindly upgrade the plugin and check if the fix helps remove the bug on your site. Please let me know the results.

    Thanks, it’s seem to work fine now, a new order number is created for subscription renewal orders, thanks!
