Subscriptions not recognising new posts from multisite

    I have a multisite network where posts are duplicated from the main site onto other certain sites across the network.

    I do this with the wp_insert_post with the wp_after_insert_post hook.

    I have one of these subordinate sites set up with jetpack mainly to use the subscription feature however jetpack does not recognise these posts as new posts and doesnt notify subscribers.

    Is there a fix for this?

    Hi there

    There is no fix for this, because the posts you’re inserting have already been published, and Jetpack doesn’t send subscription emails for previously published posts.
