I am building a real estate portal on which agents or private sellers can register and buy subscriptions.

For agents, as wel as for the tax office, it would be helpful if it were possible to add VAT calculations to the prices and to give agents the possibility to download an invoice.

I understand that it might be complex to build that into the plugin, but for instance the possibility to connect to woocommerce would be very helpful.

how can we now add VAT and get invoices for the agents?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Yes, in fact, this requires a significant modification of the plugin and adding functionality for this.
Probably, the easiest way to build an invoice will be on the basis of a PDF brochure, which is available in the PRO / Premium versions of the plugin.
As for the VAT – probably a good option is a modification of the Estatik Mortgage Calculator. Or add a separate field that will be tied to the price.
In any case, this is possible only by modifying the code. The source code is open and you can customize it according to your requirements, of course, if you have enough knowledge and skills.
If you need any help, please Contact Us and provide with detailed specifications – we will do our best to help you and provide hints for code modification.

Currently, the only solution that does not require modification of the code is to create a custom field named VAT and enter the amount of tax in it manually. Also, this field can be added to the PDF brochure.

We will consider the option of adding functionality in the following updates.
    Thanks for your feedback.

I guess best and easiest would be to allow the use of a third party eCommerce system like woocommerce to handle the sale of subscriptions.

    Hi there,

I completely agree, this is also a good option.
However, like others, it requires some technical skills to integrate plugins.

    Thanks.

dont you agree that in fact this should be a standard option in your plugin, as I cannot believe that I am the only agency that needs invoicing and VAT calculation. Basically, all real estate agents that actually are registered businesses will need that.
Any possibility you might integrate it in a next version?

    Hi there,

We do agree. Currently we are working on the major 4.0 plugin release that will include numerous must-have new features like the one you described. However this won’t be the next plugin release. Will this work for you?

    Thanks.
