Subsite administrators no access to plugins

    I have several users who have created their own subsites. These users are the administrators of the site. They can view that there is a plugin menu in their dashboard, but when they try to access the plugins they cannot view currently installed plugins, which also means they cannot activate any currently installed plugins.

    Are those plugins network activated?

    Some plugins on the site are network activated. That’s not really what the issue is. Subsite administrators should be able to see all installed plugins (except those network activated) and have the option to activate or deactivate a plugin.

    I was making sure you understood that network activated plugins don’t show up and cannot be activated or deactivated per site ?? Lots of people miss that.

    Does the plugin page show at all? If not, make sure you go to network admin – settings,and check the box to show plugins on site pages.

    If the page does load, but there just aren’t any plugins, make sure you’re not using something like plugin commander to hide them.

    Thanks! That’s what it was. I must have changed that setting a while back.
