• Hi,
I just migrated a domain-based multisite to a new hosting account (same webhost; different package) I did it manually over SSH since it a huge, nearly 1Gb dump of 50 subsites. I did a search/replace from old to new url in notepad++ to update all including serialized strings before importing the dump file db back to the server.

Everything went surprisingly well; however some (not all) of my subsite images have broken permalinks. When i view them they are definitely correct bearing the now updated full URL.

The only fix I’ve found is by replacing the non-loading image with any different image then swapping it for the original image again, the image now appears correctly, even though the permalink never changes. Is there a plugin to help me do this with ALL images across all subsites?? or does anyone know what the problem is?

The permalink is totally correct and clicking it displays the image linked to in the browser but they just wont display when i view the subsite. All sites were built with Elementor/Astra Sites. If i view the site in Elementor editor they display correctly without modification.

Does anyone have a clue what’s happening here??

    Thanks …

Could you give us an example of a site with the problem? It’s difficult to know the correct answer without seeing it in action. It would also need to be an “unfixed” site, so that the problem can be seen live. Having a similar fixed one for comparison would likely help too.
